Mortgage Works - Genesis 2000 Support & Upgrades
The Genesis 2000 mortgage program is available for
install in two different convenient ways:
- Get the Genesis CD from the NPB office receptionist (it must be signed out) and the call the Information Technology Director, Robert Lindelof at 561.722.8516 and he will connect to your computer remotely to complete the install. He may be busy at the time you call so please be patient and he will get back to you as soon as possible - PLEASE DO NOT attempt to install the software yourself to avoid problems with the installation as many steps are required. You then need to promptly return the CD back to the NPB Office.
- Bring your Tower or Laptop in to the specified office for manual installation - This will need to be scheduled in advance by calling Robert at 561.722.8516 who will advise you which office to come to and when. You do not need to bring anything except the Tower itself and if a Laptop, just the power cord.
If you need an update to the Genesis program, connect to the Internet and then start the Genesis software. When you click on the EPASS tab you will see a notice that an update is available for download. Click on the link provided to download the update and then save it to your computer. You will then need to exit the Genesis software before installing the latest update or you will not be successful and the upgrade will not complete properly*.
If you need an update to the Genesis program Style Letters or Templates, you will need to contact Robert Lindelof at 561.722.8516 so that he proper arrangements can be made to update your data.
*This is the most common error encountered so please remember to exit the Genesis program fully first, then install the update(s). |
