Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What is my username and password?
A. This is the username and password that you log into the office computers with.
Q. But I have never logged into a computer at work, or I always use the "agent" generic login?
A. All users have had a network login created for them if one didn't exist. Please try a username of your first initial and your last name, and a password of your last name
Q. I'm having trouble sending mail from home?
A. A lot of ISP's, such as bellsouth and Adelphia, are blocking the sending emails through any non-isp server. Your will need to set your outgoing server to the mail server provided by you ISP.
Q. What is Exchange Server and why are we switching?
A. As you may have noticed, the company network has been going through some changes. So far, we have connected all the offices and upgraded to a Windows Active Directory Domain. Exchange server is part of this process, and will help us meet the overall goal of making things better for you. In the coming months, you will see the benefits of using the Exchange Email server, and these thing will help you to work more efficiently.
Q. I'm just setting up another pop3 server, how is this any different?
A. This is just the first part of the migration. With hundreds of users, we simply don't have the resources to switch everyone over to exchange at once. Using the iMail Server as as pop3 server is simply an intermediary step in the process. In the coming weeks, we will be providing options for everyone to switch over to Exchange, relative to the way you work on a day to day basis.
Q.What about my old mail?
A. We tried to let everyone know that the change was coming. However, if there are emails that you didn't save, we will do our best help you retrieve those emails. As of January 15th, the E-mortgageworks.com domain was pointed to the iMail Server.
Q. I don't have time for this, I just need to get an email that I need to do my job?
A. Thankfully, iMail has a web based version of outlook that we have made available. However, there are certain restrictions to this and it may not be available to everyone in all of our domains immediately. For security purposes, you will need your network username and password to access this site. Click HERE to access iMail Web Access.
