MAPQUEST NOT WORKING
There are currently two fixes out from MLS when the Mapping portion of the website does not work properly. Both are adjustments to the Internet Explorer program and may require downloads as needed from both Microsoft and MLS.
Try them in the order provided on the affected system which should resolve this issue immediately. If the problem persists, call contact MLS Technical at 561-627-4548 for additional assistance. If you are still unable to correct this issue, contact the IT Department and we will schedule a visit to the office promptly.
Fix 1.
- Logon to the Workstation – If you are advised that you do not have sufficient administrative rights, contact the Office Manager or the IT Department.
- Norton’s Internet Security should be disabled if installed. Just right click on the yellow globe at the bottom of the screen by the clock and chose Disable. If it prompts for how long, choose “Until System Restarts or Next Reboot”
- Open Internet Explorer – Must be at least IE Version 6
- Go to Tools, then Internet Options
- In the General Tab at the Top (There are Several Tabs)
- Delete the Cookies,
- Then delete the Files & Offline content
- In the Security Tab
- Select the Custom Level button and Enable all Active X selections
- Select the Trusted Sites button and Uncheck the Require Server Verification for all Sites in this Zone box, then in the line above type in the following *.rmls.rexplorer.net and choose Add and then click OK.
- In the Privacy Tab
- Select the Advanced button and check the Override Automatic Cookie Handling box and the Always allow Session Cookies box
- In the Advanced Tab
- Uncheck the Enable 3rd Party Browser Extensions Selection – (Requires Restart).

Lastly, log off and then back onto the network.
FIX 2.
- Go to www.mlswpb.com
- Click on the “Help Desk” link on the left.
- Under “REGIONAL MLS AND MARTIN COUNTY LISTINGS NOW ON MLXCHANGE” click on the FNIS Link.
- Under “Downloading and Installing Microsoft Java Virtual Machine” click on “Select Microsoft Java Virtual Machine Version 5.0.0.3809 (This is a full version of the software.)” and Run. When finished restart the PC.
- Repeat steps 1 through 3, and now click on “Microsoft Java Virtual Machine Version 5.0.0.3810” and Run. When finished restart the PC.
- Open Internet Explorer. Click on Tools, Internet Options, and then click on the Advanced Tab. Scroll down and look for Java (Sun) and uncheck the “Use Java…..” box.
- Now look for Microsoft VM. If found uncheck all boxes.
- Restart the PC
